Day 3: 2 Favorite Band Members: Sierra and Juliet
“We’re gonna be together forever, okay?” Sierra Kusterbeck whispered into her best friend’s ear early one morning. The blond who was laying next to her rolled over on her side.
“Mhm,” She let a low grumble escape from her lips, but for the most part she remained asleep. Sierra grinned and climbed off the bed. The other girl, Juliet, just wasn’t having that. She reached over and grabbed her arm.
“Stay!”
These were moments that Sierra looked forward to. She was the clingy one in the relationship, so it filled her with indescribable joy when Juliet attached to her. She smiled to herself and slid back under the covers.
Juliet Simms never really understood her best friend, Sierra Kusterbeck. Juliet made it blatantly clear that she had feelings for Juliet beyond friendship. The only way she could make it any more obvious was if she actually told her, but there was no way she was doing that. She didn’t even bother with being subtle because she knew Sierra’s IQ was just as low as hers was. What made it even worse, though, was the way Sierra acted towards her. It was almost as if she did know, and like she was playing a game with Juliet. Mocking her.
She yawned, opening her eyes. She rolled over and smiled at the girl sleeping next to her. “Morning,” she whispered in an almost inaudible voice. She threw the covers off herself and sat up. She ran a hand through her blond hair, sighing.
“Hi!” Sierra pounced on Juliet from behind, smuggling her. She kissed her cheeks and face, giggling. In her eyes, Juliet was the cutest thing in the world. She nuzzled her nose into Juliet’s neck. She felt a pang in her heart when Juliet shrugged her off. “What’s wrong?” She asked.
“You can’t do that….” Juliet mumbled, covering her face with her hands. Sierra frowned, letting go of her. “…not when I’m already so much in love with you.”
Sierra didn’t say anything, but giggled. “Wait then…why aren’t you mine yet?” She turned Juliet around.
“You never asked me to be.” Juliet smirked. Sierra took this as an opportunity to lean over and plant a kiss on Juliet’s lips.
“Well, you are now.”
Day 2:Least Favorite Band Member & Favorite Band Member
Melissa wiped the white powder off her nose, sneezing. She shook her head a little. She blinked hard before leaning far back on her couch. She cocked her head back and let darkness take over her, drifting to sleep. She hadn’t heard it when her girlfriend had opened the unlocked front door and entered her home. She hadn’t seen her girlfriend silently creep into the living room. She hadn’t felt her girlfriend sit down next to her. She sure as hell hadn’t heard her girlfriend as she sobbed with her face in her hands.
Juliet woke up early the next morning. Her head hurt like sin, and she knew why. She had cried herself to sleep, which she did a lot lately. She couldn’t help it though. With her girlfriend being the way she was, Juliet didn’t really have a choice. She turned her head to the side and looked at Melissa’s sleeping form. “Why can’t you be addicted to me, the way you’re addicted to that shit!?” Juliet screamed at the top of her lungs, banging her hands on the table. All the cocaine that was on Melissa’s end of the table had fallen off onto the white carpet. Juliet began sobbing again. “I wake up crying. I go to sleep crying, because of YOU!” She shouted. “I hate you, oh god damn it I hate you.” She pounded her fists into her skull.
“No, no you don’t.” The extremely familiar raspy voice that belonged to Melissa said. Juliet turned to her.
“Fuck you!” She began punching Melissa’s arm. The other girl opened her eyes, a smile spread across her face. She grabbed Juliet’s arms and pinned her down.
“If you hated me, you wouldn’t be here. You woulda walked away the first time.” Melissa pointed out, calmly. Juliet continued to cry silent tears.
“You said you would change.” Juliet whined.
“But I didn’t.” Melissa began kissing her neck. “And you still stayed.” Juliet moaned.
“Get off me.” She said once she got back to her senses. “Every time we have a fight you always try to seduce me. Not this time.” She sat up, pushing Melissa off of her. “Me or the drugs?” Juliet asked firmly. Melissa didn’t say anything for a while.
“Melissa. Me or the drugs!” Juliet said, louder.
“Jilly, chill. The neighbors might hear you,” Melissa winked. Juliet shook her head.
“You know what? I’m fucking done.” Juliet stood up, tears rolling down her face. “Fuck you, Melissa.” She walked out of the room, leaving Melissa alone.
(Sorry if these are short! I type them from my phone, so I haven’t a clue as to the word count and/or loose-leaf pages to computer conversion ratio!)
Day 1: Favorite Canon Ship: Sierra and Shane
Shane Crump sat with his feet propped up against the coffee table in his hotel room. All his focus was on his phone, or more specifically, his twitter timeline. He could feel jealousy taking over him. He took a few deep breaths and set the phone down on the coffee table. As if the envy he was just feeling wasn’t bad enough, Dennis barged into his room and plopped himself down on the love seat across from Shane.
“Hey man, how goes it?” Dennis gave Shane a small nod of acknowledgement. Shane didn’t say anything, and just stared at Dennis. Except not at him, beyond him. “Dude, what’s wrong? You’re not being your usual, fucking crazy self.” Dennis stood up and walked over to Shane, sitting down beside him. Shane turned his head slowly toward Dennis.
“She’s on a date. She tweeted a picture of her and her date.” Shane managed to say after a few moments. Dennis let out a deep sigh. He didn’t have to ask to know who Shane was talking about.
“Man, didn’t Jake tell you to unfollow her?” Shane rolled his eyes and looked away.
“I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Besides, we’re still Facebook friends. And she follows me.” Shane scratched his head.
“Man, you gotta move on!” Dennis stated. Shane shook his head,
“It’s only been a month. I can’t.” Dennis took a deep breath and smacked his forehead.
“This is getting a bit pathetic. If you want her back so badly, go to her!” Dennis stood up. “I can’t take this anymore.”
“She’s in Australia.” Shane said flatly. Dennis smacked him hard on the arm.
“That’s never stopped you before.”
Sierra Kusterbeck was sitting in a cafe, scrolling her phone. She was replying to a text from one of her closest friends, singer Juliet Simms. She texted her a quick happy birthday, because it was already the 26th in Australia time. She put her phone down and looked up at the ceiling. She closed her eyes and thought about what she had planned for the day. She could feel herself drifting off to sleep, until there was a knock at the door. She opened her eyes and stood up, stretching her arms above her head. She walked over to the door and as soon as she opened it, she was greeted with a hug.
She looked beautiful, as usual. Shane couldn’t help but embrace her; feel her warmth again. “I’m so sorry.” He repeated over and over again. “I miss you so much.”
Sierra could t help but smile. She didn’t want to admit it, but she missed him too. She breathed in his familiar scent, a combination of the ocean and shaving cream. “Same here.” She could feel her smile growing and her heartbeat increasing.
“I miss you. I want you back.” Shane said as slowly as possible. He wouldn’t let her go, not this time. He could feel his heart melting as her breath tickled his skin.
“Yeah,” Sierra smiled, nodding. These are words she’s been wanting to hear for about a month now. “Same here.” She squeezed him again, never wanting to let go. “I love you.”
